Project
Our research project focuses on leveraging ambient intelligence and computer vision within intensive care unit (ICU) environments to support clinical documentation and patient monitoring. By deploying computer vision models using wall-mounted cameras, we aim to automatically detect and capture key clinical activities, with the long-term goal of integrating these insights into the electronic health record system. We aim to both reduce the documentation burden of providers and improve the quality of care by providing insights to clinicians.
